Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of
this chapter or fail to comply herewith or who shall violate or fail to comply
with any order made hereunder or who shall build in violation of any detailed
statement of specifications or plans submitted and approved hereunder or any
certificate or permit issued hereunder and from which no appeal has been taken

of this chapter shall be deemed misdemeanors.
Appropriate actions and proceedings may be taken at law or in equity
to restrain, correct or abate a violation of this chapter, and these remedies
shall be in addition to the penalties prescribed in the preceding section.
