Whenever the requirements of this chapter are
at variance with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted rules,
law or ordinances, the most restrictive or that imposing the higher
standards shall govern.
This chapter shall be the rules and regulations
governing the Planning Board. No building permit or certificate of
occupancy shall be issued by the Building Inspector except where all
the provisions of this chapter, as approved by the Planning Board,
have been complied with.
A certificate of occupancy for a structure or
use shall not be issued unless a street providing access to such structure
or use has been suitably improved.
The previously enacted Subdivision Law of the Town of Newburgh adopted by the Planning Board and approved by the Town Board on June 19, 1978, are hereby repealed, except in their application to pending minor subdivision plat applications, major subdivision preliminary plat applications and major subdivision final plat applications as provided in Article
VI, §
163-30, above.
