The terms "bicycle," "motorcycle," "motor vehicle"
and "snowmobile" shall carry such meaning as the same are defined
in §§ 102, 123 and 125 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law
of the State of New York, as amended, and § 21.05 of the
Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law of the State of New
York, and the term "watercraft" shall be defined in such terms as
the same is commonly known in the community.
No person shall operate or park a bicycle, motorcycle,
motor-driven cycle, motor vehicle, snowmobile, boat, canoe, kayak,
raft or other watercraft within the boundary lines of the property
of the Town of Southport known as the "Chapel Park Stormwater Control
Project Property"; except for such motor vehicles as may be required
for the maintenance and preservation of such property by the Highway
Department of the Town of Southport, or its duly authorized agents
for such purposes, and further excepting such areas which have been
designated as crossovers for the use of abutting property owners for
the purpose of egress and ingress to the owners thereof.
