A. 
Whenever any words and phrases are used in this Part 1, the meaning respectively ascribed to them in Section 102 of the Vehicle Code shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein.
B. 
The following words and phrases not defined in Section 102 of the Vehicle Code shall, for the purpose of this Part 1, have the meaning respectively ascribed to them in this article, except when the context otherwise requires:
PARKING METERS
Devices intended to assist public authorities in enforcing the provisions of this Part 1, limiting the time during which vehicles may be parked on any highway within the parking meter zone.
PARKING METER ZONES
Highways or portions of the highways on which parking meters are installed, operated and used.
THE VEHICLE CODE
The Act of April 29, 1959, P.L. 58, as amended.[1]
