[HISTORY: Adopted by the Council of the City of Easton 9-16-1964 by Ord. No. 1834 (Art. 717 of the 1965 Codified Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall discharge any firearms within the City. This prohibition shall not apply to the observance of any rules, rituals or customs of any duly recognized organization, nor shall it apply to pistol, rifle or trap shooting ranges on private or public grounds or premises, under circumstances such that the firearm is fired, discharged or operated in such a manner as not to endanger persons or property, and the ranges are constructed and maintained in such a manner as to prevent the projectile from traversing any grounds or space outside the limits of such range, grounds or residence.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than $300 and, in default of payment of fine and costs, imprisoned not more than 90 days, or both.
