Calendar parking shall be in effect from November 1 to April 15.
Parking of any vehicle will be prohibited on the north and west sides of the streets and avenues within the corporate limits of the City of Fairfax on even-numbered days.
Parking of any vehicle will be prohibited on the south and east sides of the streets and avenues within the corporate limits of the City of Fairfax on odd-numbered days.
A. 
Police cars, hearses, ambulances, fire department vehicles and any other vehicle considered to be an emergency vehicle that is responding to an emergency call.
B. 
Vehicles parked temporarily, including doctor's cars or other cars delivering merchandise, providing that such parking be no longer than reasonably necessary.
C. 
Vehicles called out for emergency repairs to electrical light and power lines, telephone lines and water systems.
A. 
This article shall not be applicable to the business district of the City of Fairfax until such time as a storm of such severity occurs necessitating the application of same. In that event the City of Fairfax, through its employees, shall be required to post signs in the center and at the ends of each block in the business district on the applicable side of the street, said signs to state that there is "NO PARKING."
B. 
For the purpose of this article the business district is defined as follows: Park Street and First Street Northeast running north and south from Lincoln Avenue (Highway 19) to Second Avenue (avenue running east and west immediately north of the railroad tracks.)
That the Police Department of the City of Fairfax is hereby authorized to remove such vehicles from the street and to store the same for the owner thereof, such removal and storage charge to be paid by the owner of such vehicle.
Any person, firm or corporation violating this article shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $300.[1]
