By virtue of and in the exercise of the authority
given to the Town Council by provisions of R.I.G.L. § 30-15-8,
and with the approval of the governor, there is established a Local
Council of Defense.
The Mayor shall appoint the Director of the Local Council of Defense established under § 9-11.
