Town of Johnston, RI Article III Town Sergeant

§ 41-7 Duties and compensation.

A. In accord with Article 18, Section 1,[1] of the Town of Johnston Charter, the Town Sergeant shall not be required to attend the Town Council meetings, Zoning Board meetings, and Planning Board meetings.

B. The salary of the Town Sergeant shall now be set as provided by the Town Council by ordinance, because of the greatly increased time requirements of the position.
