The Police Department shall be comprised of, but not limited to, the following ranks and/or positions:

Chief of Police.
B. 
Deputy Chief of Police.
C. 
Major.
D. 
Captain.
E. 
Lieutenant.
F. 
Sergeant.
G. 
Detective.
H. 
Patrol officer.
I. 
Civilian dispatcher.
J. 
Civilian clerk.
A. 
Job descriptions for each position and/or title shall be articulated within the applicable job description policy maintained within the Police Department.
B. 
Among these titles, there may be Division- and bureau-specific positions that personnel may also hold, per assignment by the Chief of Police, including, but not limited to, the following:
(1) 
Patrol Supervisor.
(2) 
Officer in charge.
(3) 
Communications Officer.
(4) 
Traffic Bureau clerk.
(5) 
Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Identification.
(6) 
Juvenile Detective.
(7) 
Clerk to the Investigative Division.
(8) 
Clerk to the Bureau of Criminal Identification.
(9) 
Secretary to the Chief and Deputy Chief of Police.
(10) 
Records Officer.
(11) 
Clerk to the Records Division.

Prosecution Detective.

Narcotics Detective.
