[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sauk City at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II). Amendments noted where applicable.]
A joint action ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of Sauk County providing for a county-municipal joint action emergency government plan of organization was adopted by said County Board on July 18, 1972. Said county ordinance is adopted by reference and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein and is hereby ratified and accepted by the Village of Sauk City, County of Sauk. A copy of the county ordinance is on file at the office of the Village Administrator.
The ratification and acceptance of the joint action ordinance shall constitute a mutual agreement between the Village of Sauk City and the County of Sauk as provided in Section 3 of said joint action ordinance.
The Emergency Government Director for the Village of Sauk City shall be appointed by the Village President, with Board confirmation, subject to the conditions and provisions set forth in the Wisconsin Statutes and the joint action ordinance.
The Sauk County Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted for the Village, and the Village President and Administrator are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents and take any and all actions necessary in relation to the plan. A copy of the plan is on file at the office of the Village Administrator.
