The Newtown Fire Department, acting through
its Board of Fire Commissioners, is hereby authorized to construct
and maintain a fenced fire pond on that triangular portion of the
Sandy Hook Elementary School Site located on the westerly side of
Dickinson Drive, being more fully described as follows: commencing
at a point marked by a stake 24 feet more or less to the west of the
culvert under Dickinson Drive; thence in a northwesterly direction
parallel to Dickinson Drive a distance of 110 feet to a point marked
by a stake; thence in a southwesterly direction a distance of 85 feet
to a point marked by a stake; and thence in a southeasterly direction
a distance of 85 feet to the point of beginning.
