The Mayor and Council may adopt such pension and retirement
plans, to include the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System
pursuant to § 31-111.8 of the State Personnel and Pensions
Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, as they may deem appropriate.
The City Manager is authorized to execute such documents, and
take those actions necessary, to implement an adopted pension and/or
retirement plan.
