GENERAL REFERENCES
Parks and recreation — See Ch. 129.
For the purpose of health, safety, morals and the general welfare of the community, there is hereby created a commission to be known as the "Town Recreation Commission."
Said Commission shall have control of the 191/2 acres (more or less) of the park and recreational facility which the Ridgely Athletic Association, Inc., is conveying to the Commissioners of Ridgely.

A. 
The Town Recreation Commission shall be composed of seven members selected by resolution of the Commissioners of Ridgely. One of the seven shall be a Commissioner of Ridgely; at least three of the remaining six shall be eligible to vote in elections for the Commissioners of Ridgely; and the seven members shall be appointed with an effort to represent the sports of tennis, soccer, little league baseball and senior league baseball.
B. 
The Town Recreation Commission shall meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, except November through February, and, within one month from the date hereof, submit its proposed bylaws, fiscal year budget and fiscal year goals to the Commissioners of Ridgely for approval. Special meetings may be convened upon at least 24 hours' notice by the Chairperson of the Town Recreation Commission or a majority of its seven members.
The terms of the agreement between the Commissioners of Ridgely and the Ridgely Athletic Association, Inc., dated January 20, 1971, are hereby accepted, ratified, approved and confirmed by the Commissioners of Ridgely and a copy thereof incorporated by reference as a part of this chapter.
The Commissioners of Ridgely agree to accept a deed from the Ridgely Athletic Association, Inc., for said 191/2 acres (more or less).
