The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the Building Inspector of
the Town of Goshen to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection
with violations of state statutes, local laws, ordinances or rules and regulations
of the Town which the Building Inspector is authorized or required to enforce.
The Building Inspector of the Town of Goshen is hereby authorized to
issue and serve an appearance ticket with respect to violation of a state
statute, a local law, ordinance or rule or regulation of the Town of Goshen
with respect to building, zoning and planning, fire prevention and safety,
licensing of occupations or businesses.
An appearance ticket shall be served personally.
