This article shall be known and may be cited
as the "Middle Smithfield Township Ordinance Authorizing an Intermunicipal
Agreement for Joint Use of Route 402 Resica School Park and Lease
Agreement.
The Intergovernmental Agreement for Joint Use
of Route 402 School Park in Middle Smithfield Township and Lease Agreement
between Middle Smithfield Township and East Stroudsburg Area School
District, marked as Exhibits A and B respectively, attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference,[1] are hereby approved, adopted and authorized, provided
that the East Stroudsburg Area School District, by appropriate official
action, approves, adopts and authorizes the execution of said agreements.

The Board of Supervisors of Middle Smithfield
Township may by resolution adopt procedures and regulations to implement
the agreements approved by this article, pursuant to the Intergovernmental
Cooperation Act, Act of December, 19, 1996, P.L. 1158, No. 177, found
at 53 Pa.C.S.A. § 2301 et seq.
