In accordance with the provisions of § 180-18, gross weight limits are hereby established as indicated for commercial vehicles or other tractor, trailer, or tractor trailer combinations, upon the local streets, bridges or portions thereof, described below, except for the purpose of making local deliveries on said streets, bridges or portions thereof:
A.
Any street,
road, highway or bridge located within the Township of Penn that has
been properly posted in accordance with 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 4902(a)
and/or (b), and only after an appropriate engineering and traffic
study has been provided as required by the Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation Rules and Regulations as they relate to the establishment
of weight limits on streets, highways, roads or bridges.
B.
Pursuant to § 180-54A, the Township of Penn has performed traffic and engineering studies on the roads hereinafter set forth and has determined that the following highways, streets and roadways subject to the jurisdiction of the Township of Penn shall be subject to the weight limits indicated herein for motor vehicles traversing the same:
