Owners and persons in charge of property within the Town shall cut the grass, weeds and other foreign growth on such property or any part thereof at such time or times as the Town Council may by resolution or order prescribe.
Owners and persons in charge of property within the Town shall keep mowed the grass situated in any strip between the travel portion of any street or road, as same is defined in Chapter 215, Zoning, and the property line.
Whenever deemed necessary by the Town Council, after reasonable notice, the Council may have such grass, weeds or other foreign growth cut by the Town's agents or employees, in which event the cost and expenses thereof shall be chargeable to and paid by the owner of such property and may be collected by the Town as taxes and levies are collected.
Every charge authorized by this chapter which the owner of any such property shall have been assessed and which remains unpaid shall constitute a lien against such property.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable under the provisions of § 1-16 of this Code.
