A Gas Inspector shall be appointed in accordance
with the provisions of MGL, c. 142, § 11, as amended.
The Inspector shall perform his duties under
the direction of the Board, as prescribed by general law. He shall
collect fees from applicants for permits in accordance with a schedule
to be approved by the Board.

The Inspector shall receive such salary as determined
by the Select Board.
No gas meter shall be turned on nor any gas
used within the Town without permission of the Inspector, nor unless
a certificate of approval is posted on the premises, properly signed
and dated by the Inspector.

The daily activities of the Gas Inspector shall
be under the management control of the Inspector of Buildings.
