There is hereby created the office of Health Advisor to the Board of Health.
The Health Advisor shall be a physician duly licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey.
The Health Advisor shall be the medical advisor of the Board. The Health Advisor shall, when requested to do so by the Board, be in attendance at and give the necessary injections or inoculations at all clinics and perform such other services as shall be, from time to time, required by the Board.
A. 
The office shall be a part-time office and appointments to the office shall terminate on December 31 of each year.
B. 
The incumbent shall receive compensation as provided in the annual Salary Ordinance adopted by the Board of Health[1] for his attendance at meetings of the Board. He shall receive such other compensation for additional medical services performed as shall be authorized by the Board of Health.
