The provisions of this article shall apply except
when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other
traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or
official traffic control device.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIII (§
260-49), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIV (§
260-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§
260-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XVI (§
260-52), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park or stand a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XVII (§
260-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter, of any day upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, unless otherwise indicated.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVIII (§
260-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, of any day upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, unless otherwise indicated.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XIX (§
260-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter, of any day upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, unless otherwise indicated.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XX (§
260-56), attached to and made a part of this chapter, at any time between the hours listed in said schedule of any day upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, unless otherwise indicated.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley
in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less
than 15 feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of
vehicular traffic, and no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle
within an alley in such a position as to block the driveway entrance
to any abutting property.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XXI (§
260-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.

Parking regulations for parking on private property
shall be as follows:
A. Parking in Watervliet Plaza. The General Manager, in conjunction
with the owners and operators of the Watervliet Plaza, shall cause
signs to be erected within such shopping plaza which shall prohibit
parking or standing within such shopping area in any area not specifically
designated by appropriate markings as a proper place to park.
B. Parking at Watervliet Price Chopper. The General Manager, in conjunction
with the owners and operators of the Watervliet Price Chopper, shall
cause signs to be erected within such shopping area which shall prohibit
parking or standing within such shopping area in any area not specifically
designated by appropriate markings as a proper place to park.
The locations described in Schedule XXII (§
260-58), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§
260-59), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.
