The Chambersburg Municipal Swimming Pool shall
be opened only during regularly scheduled hours, and no unauthorized
swimming shall be permitted after such regularly scheduled hours,
and entry upon the pool premises when it is not open for public use
shall be unlawful.

After posting of appropriate signs at the entrances
to the municipal park on McKinley Street in the Borough of Chambersburg
indicating the speed limit, no person shall operate any vehicle, whether
motor-driven or not, at a speed in excess of 15 miles per hour on
the municipal park property.

All persons using the Chambersburg Municipal
Swimming Pool shall comply with all posted rules and regulations established
by the Town Council for the use of the swimming pool and facilities,
and failure to comply with such rules and regulations, in addition
to the penalties hereinafter provided, may subject the person violating
them to loss of privilege to use the pool, and no refund of any admission
paid will be required.

Any person who shall violate any provision of
this article or any rules and regulations established pursuant thereto
shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not
more than $300 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment
of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.

All persons using public recreation and park
areas of the Borough of Chambersburg shall comply with all posted
rules and regulations established by the Council of the Borough of
Chambersburg for the use of such facilities, and failure to comply
with such rules and regulations, in addition to the penalties hereinafter
provided, may subject the person violating them to loss of the privilege
to use such facilities, and no refund of any admission paid shall
be required.
The rules and regulations established under
this article shall be in addition to those heretofore established
for the use of the Municipal Swimming Pool.

Borough police officers, park guards, Borough
parking meter service persons, and the Superintendent (or designee)
and Assistant Superintendent of the Recreation Department may issue
five-dollar tickets for violations of the rules and regulations established
herein as well as for any parking violations in off-street parking
lots used by the Recreation Department. The ticket shall notify the
owner or operator of the vehicle involved in the offense or the individual
committing the offense that he shall report to the office of the Chief
of Police and pay, for the use of the Recreation Department, the sum
of $5 within 72 hours after the time of such notice or shall, within
such time limit, place the sum of $5 in the ticket envelope in any
of the special parking fine boxes installed at various locations within
the borough. Timely payment will save such violator from prosecution
and from payment of the fine of up to $300 and costs of prosecution.
