There shall be a moratorium in effect on all applications and approvals
of applications regarding any property which is partially or entirely located
in the MF-18 Overlay Zoning District in the Village of Islandia.

The moratorium shall hereby be extended 90 days from the date of the
filing of Local Law No. 2-2006 with the Department of State.
The Village of Islandia, its officers, employees, and boards shall not
accept, process or approve any application for building, construction, zoning,
use or other form of permit or approval during the moratorium period, and
the processing of any such application that may be pending is hereby stayed
during the moratorium period.
The moratorium period may be extended, modified or terminated by the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Islandia by the adoption of a local law.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Islandia shall conduct a study
on the effect of Local Law 1 of 2005, the Village Comprehensive Plan and the
creation of the MF-18 Overlay Zoning District.
In the event that any section or portion of this chapter shall be deemed
to be unenforceable or of no effect, the remainder of the chapter shall survive
and remain in full force and effect.
