Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the Village
Building Inspector is hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets
as defined by § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law directing specified
persons to appear in the Village Justice Court.
Appearance tickets may be issued and served with respect to offenses
of less than felony grade.
The Village Building Inspector may issue and serve appearance tickets
with respect to the enforcement of the laws as specified herein: all statutes,
local laws, ordinances, rules or regulations relating to off-street parking,
plumbing, building, zoning and planning, fire prevention and safety, health
and sanitation.
The foregoing authorizations are in addition to any and all authorizations
heretofore or hereafter given. Any inconsistencies shall be construed in favor
of broadened and additional authorization to issue appearance tickets.
