No parking place shall be conducted in any business
district or on property in the Village except when owned or controlled
by the municipality or its agents, unless approved by the Board of
Trustees as hereinafter provided.
An application for a license to conduct a parking
place setting forth the location and area of the proposed business
property to be used as a parking place shall be submitted to the Board
of Trustees. The applicant shall further set forth the maximum number
of motor vehicles to be parked on said property, taking into consideration
means of ingress and egress.
No license shall be granted for the purpose
of conducting a public parking place unless a fee for said license
in the amount of $10 is paid by the applicant.
A license to conduct a parking place shall permit
the applicant therefor to conduct said business for a period of one
year commencing June 1 and expiring May 31 next following.
No public parking place shall be permitted to
be operated on any property which has been zoned residential.
