The provisions of this Article imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the
stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A.
39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule A (§
182-31), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule B (§
182-32) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule B, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule C (§
182-33) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule C, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule D (§
182-34) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule D of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule D, attached to and made a part of this chapter.

A. No person shall park more than two vehicles, including one junk automobile or one junk automobile body as permitted in §
180-2, on any portion of a residential property, exclusive of vehicles parked on an approved driveway or stowed in a garage or other accessory building. Other than one junk automobile or one junk automobile body, any other vehicle parked on a residential property other than on an approved driveway or stowed in a garage or other accessory building must have a valid vehicle registration and be operable.
B. No person
shall park a commercial motor vehicle with a gross motor vehicle weight
rating of Class 5 or higher as established by the Federal Highway
Administration on any portion of a residential property or on any
residential street. Notwithstanding, a commercial motor vehicle with
a gross motor vehicle weight rating of Class 5 or higher may be parked
on a portion of a residential property or on a residential street
for the purposes of making deliveries or providing services to a property
owner or resident, limited to the duration of providing such delivery
or services.
C. No person
shall park a trailer, as defined at N.J.S.A. 39:1-1, greater than
20 feet in length on any portion of a residential street. Notwithstanding,
a trailer greater than 20 feet in length may be parked on a residential
street for the purposes of making deliveries or providing services
to a property owner or resident, limited to the duration of providing
such delivery or services.
D. Vehicles
of any size that handle or store hazardous materials that are products
or components or substances that are capable of posing a significant
risk to health, safety, or property when transported by air, rail,
ground or sea as defined in 49 CFR 171.8 are prohibited from parking
on any portion of a residential property including a driveway or on
any residential street. Notwithstanding, nothing in this subsection
shall preclude properly licensed tanker vehicles from the delivery
of propane or fuel oil for home heating and domestic purposes.
