Whenever a check payable to any account of the Borough of Tuckerton
is returned for insufficient funds, a service charge of $20 shall be added
to the account. The service charge shall be paid and credited before any other
payment on the account is accepted and credited. In addition, the Borough
may require future payments upon the account to be tendered in cash or by
certified or cashier's check.
Unpaid service charges shall be collected in the same manner prescribed
by law for the collection of the account for which the check was tendered.
