No plenary retail consumption licensee shall
permit any patron who is under the legal age to purchase and consume
alcoholic beverages or to be within any room in which any bar is located,
unless said patron is accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or spouse,
provided that said parent, legal guardian or spouse shall have attained
the age at which a person may purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
This section shall not apply to the dining area of any bona fide restaurant
whose principal business is the service of food.
Any person who misrepresents his or her age
to any police officer or special officer of the City of Linwood in
connection with the purchase and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverages
shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person who shall permit the use of his or
her documents by any person under 21 years of age for the purpose
of securing the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the City of Linwood
shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person who shall be charged with a violation
of any of this article shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court
of the City of Linwood, be subject to a fine not exceeding one $1,000
or imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 90 days or a
period of community service not to exceed 90 days, or any combination
of the foregoing.
