The grievant shall file a notice of grievance
with the Village Clerk, in writing, which form shall
contain:
A. Name and address of the grievant.
B. The date the grievance is filed and the signature
of the grievant.
C. The nature of the grievance and desired result.
The Village Clerk shall promptly transmit copies
of the grievance to each member of the Board of Trustees and the Mayor.
The grievant or any person aggrieved by the
decision of the Board of Trustees may, within 30 days of the date
of the decision, appeal the decision to the Supreme Court of New York
State.

The Village Clerk of the Village of Delhi is
hereby designated to receive and accept written complaints and grievances
concerning allegations of discrimination in the sale, rental, financing
and brokerage of housing based on sex, race, religion, color, national
origin, familial status or handicap within the boundaries of the Village
of Delhi.
All such complaints shall be promptly referred
to the Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development or his designee for investigation and such other action
as the Secretary shall deem appropriate.
The Village Clerk and all officials, employees
and agents of the Village of Delhi shall fully cooperate with the
Secretary or his designee in any such investigation or other action
taken as a result of a complaint.
