This zone applies to all areas of public lands or facilities which are of a substantial and permanent nature owned by the Township, county, state or federal government or other public agency or authority.

A. 
Uses normally incidental to and appropriate for the public body owning the land shall be permitted, except that warehouses and the yards for the storage of materials and equipment shall not be located within 500 feet of a residential zone. Site plan approval shall not be required for new uses on governmentally owned land located in the P Public Zone, but shall be subject to the review of the Township professionals and approval of Township Council.[1]

In the event that any land in the P Zone reverts to private ownership, such land shall become a part of the R-3 Zone unless and until another zone district is applied to such land by the Township Council.
