The Fire Chief or any assistant of the Fire Department in charge of any fire may, when deemed necessary by him to ensure the efficient working of the men or apparatus under his control, blockade any street, avenue, lane, alley or part thereof or other place in the Village of Hamilton, New York, and no person shall break through or attempt to break through such blockade.
It shall be the duty of the Fire Chief of the Fire Department of the Village of Hamilton, New York, and his assistants to keep the apparatus for extinguishing fires in the best order. The Fire Chief of the Fire Department shall have supreme control at the time of any fire in said village and no person shall neglect or refuse to perform any direction of said Fire Chief or assistants in charge at any fire.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by the penalties set forth in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
