A. No person shall excavate, drill or remove soil on any lot, or caused
to be excavated, drilled or have soil removed on such lot, for the
purpose of installing a private well upon any lot within the Borough,
unless and until a permit therefor shall have first been issued by
the approving authority.
B. Such permit shall be applied for on forms to be supplied by the Borough Construction Office and which shall be issued in accordance with the Uniform Construction Code, as adopted in accordance with Chapter
140 of this Code.
C. As part of such application, no permit shall be granted for the drilling
of any private well unless the permit is approved in advance by the
Board of Public Works of Park Ridge.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
PRIVATE WELL
The excavation, whether drilled, bored or cored, for water
on a privately owned lot within the Borough of Woodcliff Lake.
