[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Rochester 6-18-1985 by Ord. No. 309 as Art. 131 of the 1985 Codified Ordinances. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The provisions of the Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania titled "An Act Concerning Townships of the First Class; Amending, Revising, Consolidating, and Changing the Law Relating Thereto," approved June 24, 1931, known as the "First Class Township Code (53 P.S. § 55101 et seq.)" relating to the office of Controller, are hereby accepted.

As of the effective date of this chapter, the Board of Township Commissioners shall petition the Court of Quarter Sessions of Beaver County to appoint a Controller to possess all the powers and perform all the duties provided for such officer in 53 P.S. § 55525.
