There shall be an Advisory Municipal Board of Appeals consisting
of three members appointed by the Council on a staggered basis. The
members shall serve until their respective successors are appointed
and qualify.
The Municipal Board of Appeals shall advise the Council on appeals
concerning the Building Code,[1] the Fire Prevention Code,[2] Chapter 144, Housing Standards, the Electrical Code and Chapter 222, Article I, Going-Out-of-Business, Fire and Other Sales. The Board shall also have the powers and duties specifically outlined under § 144-12, Board of Appeals, of Chapter 144, Housing Standards, of this Code.
