This article is enacted to provide for the disposition of revenues from taxes imposed by the County of Erie, in that said amounts are to be paid directly to the Village of Sloan to be used for any Village purpose.
Section 1262 of the Tax Law authorizes counties to set aside a portion of their sales tax revenue for cities, towns and villages; pursuant to this section, the Village of Sloan provides that the amounts paid to the Village as a portion of the sales tax revenue shall be paid directly to the Village of Sloan to be used for any Village purpose.
This article will affect sales tax revenue which was set aside by the County of Erie for the Village of Sloan pursuant to law.
