Unless the context shall otherwise require, the terms, phrases,
words and their derivatives used in this chapter shall have the same
meaning as those defined in 6 NYCRR Part 617.
VILLAGE
The Village of Clyde, including the Board of Trustees and
any department, board, commission, officer or employee of the Village.
No decision to carry out or approve an action, other than an
action listed in 6 NYCRR Part 617 as a Type II action, shall be made
by the Village until there has been full compliance with all requirements
of this chapter and 6 NYCRR Part 617.
No decision to carry out or approve an action, other than an
action listed in 6 NYCRR Part 617 as a Type II action, shall be made
by the Village until a determination has been made regarding whether
an action will have a significant effect on the environment.
A. The Planning Board shall be lead agency for Type I and unlisted actions
that involve a land use (zoning) approval, including site plan review,
special use permits, use and area variances.
B. The Board of Trustees shall be lead agency for all other Type I and
unlisted actions.
