Pursuant to § 62.23(2) and (3) of the Wisconsin Statutes,
the Village of Shorewood is authorized to prepare and adopt a comprehensive
plan as defined in § 66.1001 (1)(a) and 66.1001 (2) of the
Wisconsin Statutes.
The Village Board of the Village of Shorewood, Wisconsin, has
adopted written procedures designed to foster public participation
in every stage of the preparation of a comprehensive plan, as required
by § 66.1001(4)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.

The Plan Commission of the Village of Shorewood, by a majority
vote recorded in its official minutes, has adopted resolutions recommending
to the Village Board the adoption and subsequent amendment to the
"The Village of Shorewood Comprehensive Plan 2040," containing all
of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2) of the Wisconsin
Statutes.
The Village has held at least one public hearing on this chapter,
in compliance with the requirements of § 66.1001(4)(d) of
the Wisconsin Statutes.

The Village Board of the Village of Shorewood, Wisconsin, does
formally adopt the document entitled, "The Village of Shorewood Comprehensive
Plan 2040," pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c) of the Wisconsin
Statutes, which was most recently amended on February 6, 2023.
