4-8-1 Establishment.

The position of the Village Engineer is hereby established as an employee or independent contractor of the Village.

4-8-2 Duties and responsibilities.

The Village Engineer shall perform those duties and responsibilities set forth in this Code, by applicable law, or as may be directed by the Village Board of Trustees or by the Village Manager.
