It is hereby established and designated that the following described piece, parcel or tract of land, with all the buildings and other improvements thereon, located in the City of Norwalk, at East Norwalk so-called, shall henceforth be known and called as "Veteran's Memorial Park."
A. 
All that certain piece, parcel or tract of land, located in the Town of Norwalk, County of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, of East Norwalk so-called, and formerly known and designated as Seaview Park, and bounded and described as follows:
(1) 
Northerly: by Seaview Avenue.
(2) 
Easterly: by East Norwalk Channel.
(3) 
Southerly: by Norwalk Harbor.
(4) 
Westerly: by Norwalk River.
That effective upon the date of the enactment of this ordinance, the above described premises will be the only park site within the geographical boundary limits of the City of Norwalk known and designated as Veteran's Memorial Park, and such designation shall not prohibit the naming of any ball fields within the area encompassed by said Veteran's Memorial Park.
The effective date of this ordinance shall be July 15, 1963.
