Untitled resolution authorizing the construction of an engine house and specifying its dimensions and manner of construction.

Permission of the Town Council is hereby given the Gettysburg and Harrisburg Railroad (Western Maryland) to lay and construct their railroad track upon and along North Street (now Railroad Street), provided said track be laid down to the surface level of the street and so constructed as not to interfere unduly with travel upon the same. The rails to be guarded by timbers and the space between leveled up with broken stone or planked so as not to interfere with crossing by teams and provided that the roadway of said street so far as used under this permission shall at all times be kept in good condition by said Company.

Authorizing the execution of agreement between the Gettysburg and Petersburg Turnpike Company, and the Borough of Gettysburg, concerning the ceding of certain strips of land in the Borough of Gettysburg. Land along the Chambersburg Pike was ceded to the Borough.

Authorizing the abandonment of the right-of-way by the Gettysburg Railway Company and in consideration of such abandonment, releasing the Railway Company from further liability to the Borough.

Ratifying authority given informally by the Council on August 7, 1961, to LeRoy H. Winebrenner to purchase, on behalf of the Borough a public sale, a lot on East Middle Street adjacent to the Gettysburg Fire Department Building on the east.
