Curb radii at street intersections for industrial streets shall be a minimum of forty (40) feet. Property lines at street intersections shall be rounded with a radius or chord as necessary in order to provide a curb radius. The minimum curb radii for the intersection of two (2) major thoroughfares or a major and secondary thoroughfare or two (2) secondary thoroughfares is thirty (30) feet. The minimum curb radii for the intersection of a minor residential street with a major or secondary thoroughfare is twenty-five (25) feet. The minimum curb radii for the intersection of two (2) minor residential streets shall be fifteen (15) feet.

Where it is desirable to subdivide a tract of land which because of its size, location, topography or shape does not permit a normal street arrangement, there may be established one (1) or more cul-de-sac streets; provided however, such streets shall make adequate provisions for the turning of vehicles at the terminal point by providing a circular drive having an overall street right-of-way diameter of not less than one hundred (100) feet and an improved roadway of sixty-eight (68) feet. No cul-de-sac street shall be longer than six hundred (600) feet.

Street jogs with centerline offsets of less than one hundred twenty-five (125) feet are prohibited.

Street signs of a design approved by City shall be installed at all intersections.

The City shall not assume liability or responsibility for maintenance of streets, storm and sanitary sewers and drainage structures until the improvements are constructed to the City's specifications and dedicated to the public use and accepted by the City in writing.

The arrangements of streets in new subdivisions shall conform to the streets of the City so that new streets shall as near as may be practicable run parallel with or be continuations of the existing streets in the City.

The subdivider shall be required to continue certain streets through the area that is being subdivided, wherever they are necessary to provide for local movement of vehicles or to enable adjoining property to be subdivided.

Streets shall be laid out so as to intersect, as nearly as possible, at right angles, except where topography justifies variation. However, such an angle shall not be less than forty-five degrees (45°). More than four (4) approaches to one (1) intersection shall be prohibited.

Whenever a subdivision line is parallel and along a publicly dedicated or used street, the subdivider shall at his/her own expense dedicate a strip of land lying within his/her subdivision so that the total street width meets the requirements contained herein and stand not to exceed one-half (½) the cost of improving the entire street adjacent to the proposed subdivision inclusive of paving, grading and storm sewers.
