The office of Special Programs Coordinator for the City of Platte
City, Missouri is hereby created. The duties of the Coordinator shall
be to plan, coordinate and administer special events which promote
civic and commercial activity in the City and such other duties as
the Mayor or Board of Aldermen may from time to time direct.

A Special Programs Coordinator shall be appointed and discharged
at will by the Mayor with the consent and approval of the Board of
Aldermen.

The Special Programs Coordinator shall have no apparent, actual
or implied authority to enter into, accept or commit the City or any
of its Officers to any obligations, contractual or otherwise, nor
shall the Coordinator represent himself/herself as having such authority.

No salary or compensation shall be provided to the Special Programs
Coordinator.
