The Seal of the City of Berkeley, Missouri, shall be an oval
metallic disc, not more than two (2) inches in diameter, with the
words, "City of Berkeley, MO" engraved on the border, and in the center
shall be an outline of the boundaries of the City, and engraved across
the center shall be "Inc. 1937" and the word "Seal".

A. It shall be unlawful for any person or organization to use the City
of Berkeley, Missouri Seal, logo, or insignia for a political purpose.
B. "Political purpose" means any activity undertaken in support of or
in opposition to an initiated or referred measure, a constitutional
amendment or measure, a political subdivision ballot measure, or the
election or nomination of a candidate to public office and includes
using "vote for," "oppose," or any similar support or opposition language
in any advertisement whether the activity is undertaken by a candidate,
a political committee, a political party, or any person.
C. Any person found to have violated any part of this Section shall
be subject to a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and
or imprisonment for ninety (90) days.
