The purpose of this chapter is to establish rules and regulations
for the protection, care and control of the Township facilities.
Any individual or group wishing to use the Township Municipal
Building or any other Township-owned facility shall file an application
with the Township Clerk's office. A copy of the application can
be obtained from the Township Clerk.
Applicants are required to indemnify and hold the Township harmless
for its use of the facility. By submitting the application, applicants
are agreeing the indemnity and hold harmless language contained in
the application. Applicants are required to provide proof of insurance
to the Township Clerk in advance of the use. The insurance requirements
and amounts are listed on the application.
The Township Committee shall have the authority to revoke a
permit upon the finding of a violation of any rule or ordinance or
upon good cause shown. The Township police and designated Township
employees shall, in connection with their duties imposed by law, diligently
enforce the provisions of this chapter and shall have the authority
to order any person or persons acting in violation of this chapter
to leave the municipal facility.
No person(s) shall possess, sell or consume alcoholic beverages
on municipal property without a resolution of the governing body authorizing
the possession, sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Applicants shall be responsible for cleaning of the facility
after its use. The facility shall be left in the same condition it
was prior to use. All trash must be removed from the property, and
all furniture must be put back to its location prior to use. The applicant
shall be responsible for any damage to the Township's property
during use.
Any person(s) violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties set forth in Chapter
1, Article
I, General Penalty.
