Section 89.320 RSMo., et seq., 1994, as amended in 1998, provides
for the membership, compensation, term and removal of the Planning
Commission of Missouri municipalities.

A. The number of members of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the
City of Weldon Spring shall consist of not more than eleven (11) members.
The Mayor and/or a member of the Board of Aldermen, should they choose
to serve on the Commission, shall be counted as members.
B. Should the Mayor and/or a member of the Board of Aldermen choose
not to serve, then the Mayor shall appoint, subject to approval by
the Board of Aldermen, someone to fill the vacancy for a one (1) year
term.

All citizen members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall
serve without compensation. Their term shall be for four (4) years.
Any vacancy in membership shall be filled by the Mayor's appointment
and the Board's approval. Any citizen member may be removed for
cause for missing three (3) consecutive meetings without excuse after
a public hearing.

The Planning and Zoning Commission shall elect its chairman
and secretary from among its citizen members, and each shall serve
a one (1) year term in that capacity, with eligibility for re-election
annually. The Commission shall hold regular and special meetings as
provided by the Commission's rules, and shall keep a public record
of its proceedings.

The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of
the City of Weldon Spring shall be held on the first (1st) Monday
of each month at 7:30 P.M. at City Hall. If said meeting date shall
fall on a legal holiday, then the meeting shall be held on the next
Monday immediately following at the same time and place.
