A.
The
following schedule of fees shall apply to all applications for building
permits to be issued by the City of Dearborn, Missouri:
1.
One- or two-family dwelling.
a.
One hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first five hundred (500) square
feet or part thereof plus twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each additional
square foot after that for up to one thousand four hundred (1,400)
square feet structure.
b.
Three hundred dollars ($300.00) for the first five hundred (500)
square feet or part thereof plus thirty-five cents ($0.35) for each
additional square foot after that for structures one thousand four
hundred one (1,401) square feet and up.
2.
Multiple-family dwelling. Two hundred dollars ($200.00)
for the first five hundred (500) square feet or part thereof plus
thirty-five cents ($0.35) for each additional square foot after that.
3.
Commercial or industrial buildings, including communications
towers. Five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the first five
thousand dollars ($5,000.00) estimated cost and twenty-five dollars
($25.00) for each additional five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) thereafter.
At the time the plans are submitted for review, a five hundred dollar
($500.00) deposit will be required. The deposit will cover the cost
associated with the review of the construction plans by the consulting
engineering firm. Should the review costs exceed the deposit amount,
the additional charges due will be billed to the applicant and due
prior to the rough-in inspection.
4.
Alteration, addition or remodeling of a one- or two-family
dwelling. Same as Subsection (1) above.
5.
Accessory building (detached garages, pole barns). Fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first five hundred (500) square feet
or portion thereof plus ten cents ($0.10) for each additional square
foot after the first five hundred (500) square feet.
6.
Shed. Fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first five
hundred (500) square feet or portion thereof plus five cents ($0.05)
for each additional square foot after the first five hundred (500)
square feet.
7.
Decks. Fifty dollars ($50.00).
8.
Swimming pools. One hundred dollars ($100.00).
9.
Fences. One dollar fifty cents ($1.50) per each
twenty (20) linear feet or portion thereof.
