The purpose of this chapter shall be to preserve the public
peace and good order in the Village of Fayetteville and to promote
the public health safety and welfare of its people by enforcing regulations
and restrictions on the activities of dogs, cats and animals that
are consistent with the rights and privileges of dog, cat or animal
owners and the rights and privileges of other citizens of the Village
of Fayetteville.
