The Captain of the First Aid Squad and the Chief of the Fire
Department of the Borough of Edgewater are authorized to designate
certain members to be on emergency standby services in the event of
anticipated weather, fire or other emergencies.
The Chief of the Fire Department and the Captain of the First
Aid Squad shall designate those persons to serve on emergency standby
in a fair and equitable manner.

Those persons designated and serving as emergency standby as
either fire or first aid members shall be paid at the rate of $20
hour.
