A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor more than four dogs or four cats, or any combination thereof, in any residence or on any premises in the Village of Woodridge. When calculating the number of dogs or cats in a residence or on any premises, cats or dogs under the age of six months shall not be included.
B. 
Notwithstanding the above, if on the effective date of this Part 2 a Village resident has more than four dogs or four cats, or any combination thereof, in his/her residence or on any premises in the Village of Woodridge, an application by the owner of the dogs or cats may be made to the Village of Woodridge Board of Trustees to request a temporary waiver of this limitation on the number of dogs and/or cats for the life of his/her dogs or cats.
