There is hereby established a Borough of Bristol Environmental
Advisory Council pursuant to the authority granted under the Pennsylvania
Borough Code and other statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Council shall be authorized to make recommendations to the
Borough Council on environmental issues at issue within the Borough
of Bristol under the applicable environmental laws of the Borough,
state and federal government.

The Council shall be composed of three residents of the Borough,
who shall be appointed by the Borough Council. Any vacancy occurring
on the Council shall be filled by appointment by the Borough Council.
Duly appointed Council members shall serve for a term of three years
except that initial appointments shall be so staggered that the terms
of one-third of the membership of the Council shall expire each year.
The terms of their successors shall be of three years. The Council
shall designate the Chairman and Secretary of the Council.

Members shall receive no compensation for their services, but
shall be reimbursed for the expenses actually and necessarily incurred
by them in the performance of their duties.

The Council shall keep minutes of its meetings and shall file
periodic reports with Borough Council.
