The Borough Council may authorize as an amendment to the Zoning
Map the designation of an area as a Municipal Park District for the
location of a municipal park, following review and recommendation
of the Planning Commission and subject to the regulations of this
Subpart and any other pertinent section of this chapter.

The lot or tract area may be used or occupied for municipal
use, municipal park and recreation purposes only and in such manner
as may be prescribed by the Borough Council, and no other.
